- There are many tour companies to choose from. Some specialize in certain activities while others can accommodate almost all of them. The best thing to do if you are in Puerto Vallarta is to stop by any one of the booths selling tours and talk to them. Booths are everywhere and easy to spot. They are all safe to buy from and are very knowledgable.
2. Google is a great resource if you can’t be there in person. Most of the tour companies have websites with lots of great information. You can contact them online and even book your activity online.
3. Friends & Family…… Check with those who have been to Puerto Vallarta and ask them what tours they liked and who they used and this will be another good resource.
Suggestions: Ask lots of questions. How long is the activity? Do I need to bring any special clothing, supplies, etc? Is the activity suitable for children under a certain age?
