Puerto Vallarta Home Tours began December 2nd and will be every Tuesday and Wednesday morning thru to March, with no tours during the Christmas New Years holidays. The Tours showcase 4 homes each tour and last about 3 hours. They include a range of options from a traditional small Mexican home to homes up to 20 ,000 square feet worth up to$10 Million USD . Puerto Vallarta has a wealth of talented architects and home owners often have museum quality art, to the tours are very popular and best of all the money all goes to a very good cause. This year is the 30 year anniversary of the IFC (International Friendship Club) home tours, the proceeds from the tours go to support the IFC Cleft Palate Program that serves almost 200 children from birth when the lip and palate are closed until all the necessary surgeries, speech therapy, dental and orthodontia work is complete. This comprehensive program has been serving the Puerto Vallarta area for 30 years and is made possible by the funds raised by the Home Tours. The IFC also supports a number of other charitable projects in Puerto Vallarta.
The tours are organized and run by club members who are experienced, knowledgeable and entertaining tour guides, and all donate their time for this great cause. The organizers are careful to vary the houses so that if you are here for a one week vacation and want to take the tour twice you will see different villas.
Ticket prices are $500 pesos and can be purchased in advance using cash at the IFC clubhouse or at Sea Monkey the morning of the tours beginning at 9 am. You may also purchase tickets in advance on our website with a charge card or Paypal at ifctoursforvallarta.com.
